We headed out around 3:30am to make sure we could summit before afternoon thunderstorms rolled in.

the world comes alive

somewhere a bit after this, my leg started cramping in pain horribly. I realized I had not had a banana in weeks. Then along comes a hiker with a squashed banana at the bottom of his bag. The Lord provides! I stretched it out and powered through.
